Características claves para su identificación
This is easily distinguished from other species of Shizopetalon by its lack of bracts to the inflorescences; compressed-tetragonal, glabrous, prominently veined, straight fruits; globose and fruiting pedicels with somewhat flattened bases. It is often confused with S. walkeň but, both have different geographic distributions
