Características claves para su identificación

This is closely related to S. biserìatum but is easily distinguished by its arcuately reflexed, narrow fruits 1.5 1.6(-1.75) mm wide, and often non-flexuous fruiting stems. S. biserìatum has erect to divaricate fruits 2.2-2.8 mm wide, and usually strongly flexuous fruiting stems. Schizopetalon tenuifolium has often been confused with S. bipinatifidum, smooth fruits, and valves covered with a mixture of coarse and minute trichomes (Al Shehbaz, 1989). It is also closely related to S. arcuatum the differences of which are discussed under that species
