Distribución y habitat

In 1922 Skottsberg observed individuals growing between Quebrada Varadero and Tierras Blancas on Alejandro Selkirk Island. Two very damaged plants were observed in 1991 (Ricci 1992) growing on the cliff of Quebrada Varadero but since this date, even after thorough searches, no plants have been found. The main cause of decline has ben grazing by goats.
