Distribución y habitat
South of the Antogfagasta region where it occurs north of Taltal to San Ramon and adjacent areas and north of Region Atacama (Quebrada de Leon). It grows at elevations from 100 to 1500 m above sea level on coastal hills (lomas costeras), on sandy and rocky substrates.
