Características claves para su identificación

Calycera sessiliflora is easily recognized by its small flower heads (0.4-1.5 diam.) and the flower bracts are distinctly pointed. This species flowers at a much earlier time of the year (October-early December) than other members of the genus (DeVore, 2004)
