Habit

Pernnial with thick, woody base. Stems 20−40(−60) cm tall. Flowers from September until January.

Regions

Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso and Metropolitana

Distribution and habitat

Widely distributed in the species growing on steep rocky slopes from coastal areas to the Andes at high elevations to 3700 m.
