Distribution and habitat

This species has a very limited distribution in the Cordillera de la Costa in the regions of Valparaíso and Metropolitana. It minly occurs in PN La Campana (especially Sector Ocoa), Cerro el Roble and Altos de Chicauma. It is associated with sclerophyllous vegetation where it is locally abundant.
