Distribution and habitat
Restricted to the Regions Atacama and Coquimbo from 20–265 metres above sea level. Typically it occurs in sandy soils, near-coastal habitats but rarely it can be found invhigher, inland areas (Dillon, 2923).

Habit
Decumbent to erect annuals to 10 cm tall.
