Desert, Desert fog oases (Lomas), Semidesert, Coastal cordillera (semidesert), Semiarid Andean cordillera, Mediterranean and Coastal matorral
Distribution and habitat
Recorded over a 600 km range in the Regions of Antofagasta, Atacama, and Coquimbo from 10–1000 metres. It grows in sandy soils near-coast habitats to upland or inland habitats (Dillon, 2023).
