Distribution and habitat

Distribution is restricted from Constitución (Región Maule) to Coronel (Región Bíobío). It grows in sandy soils from sea level to 300 m.

Habit

Perennial herb to 60 cm tall. Flowers from December to January and fruits in February

Seed of this species is banked by the national seed bank of Chile, INIA.
