Habit
Perennial herb up to 15 cm tall. Flowering from September to November.
Key characteristics
A. diluta ssp. diluta has a little or no yellow stripe, compared to that of A. diluta ssp. chrysantha which has a broad band of yellow.
Notes
Esta especie está relacionada con A. kingii, especialmente con respecto a las flores y las rayas y con A. pulchra por el punto oscuro y denso hacia el vértice de los pétalos superiores (Muñoz-Schick y Moreira-Muñoz, 2003).
