Distribution and habitat

Only found at the Type location on the slopes of Volcán Antuco. Volcanic ash slopes with local colonies of Berberis empetrifolia, Maihuenia poeppigii, Azorella prolifera, Pozoa volcanica, Mutisia oligodon, Nassauvia revoluta & Orites myrtoidea.
