Distribution and habitat

Recently (2010 & 2021) rediscovered in three sites in Region Atacama between Totoral to Sarco. The Philippi type locality of La Serana (Region Coquimbo) my be an error (Shaw, 2022). Grows in small colonies in fine gravel of coastal plains.
