Habit

Annual herb, 3-25 cm tall

Key characteristics

Differs from M. humilis var. humils by its larger leaves up to 9 cm long with up to 8 segments, the presence of stipules on bracts and larger flowers with a floral cup (hypanthium) equal or longer than 8 mm and equal or wider than 6mm. Sepals and petals equal or longer than 8mm (Bull-Hereñu, 2020).
