Distribution and habitat

This species is only found in the Coastal mountain range of Nahuelbuta between 500-1100 m above sea level. A classic location for this species is in Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta where it grows in open areas near to roadsides or on riverside margins in forest dominated by Araucaria araucana and Nothofagus antarctica and N. obliqua.

Habit

Perennial Herb, 15-20 cm tall. Flowering December to March.
