Desert and Desert fog oases (Lomas)

Distribution and habitat

Coastal hills of the province of Antofagasta and Chañaral between 25°5'S and 26°8'S. Hillsides and coastal desert between 100–780 meters above sea level. Forms part of the coastal scrub in the fog zone where the dominant species are Balbisia pedunculata, Eulychnia iquiquensis, Euphorbia lactiflua, Nolana ramosissima and Oxalis gigantea.
