Chile: Region V (Valparaíso), Petorca Province, La Ligua Municipality, Humedal de Pichicuy, restricted to sands on a ca. 3.5 ha backdune (ca. 70 x 500 m) featuring a rock outcrop projecting 4 m above the surface, 32.347S 71.444W, 8-10 m (Figs. 1, 2), 11 October 2018, Hershkovitz 18-01 (holotype:F; isotype:P, Figs. 3-5).
