Distribution and habitat

It is found from Paposo (Antofagasta Region), to areas around El Todo in the Elqui Province (Coquimbo Region). Within this distribution it has a broad atitudinal range of between 10-1150 metres above sea level.

Habit

Subshrub, erect or decumbent with floriferous stems from (5) -10- 40 (50) cm long.

Seed of this species is banked by the national seed bank of Chile, INIA.
