Habit

Perennial herb, flowering stems to 10 cm tall.

Key characteristics

Although it is somewhat similar to C. peduncularis, it differs by being non-woody and from the inflorescence that has the longer and much more branched peduncles. The leaf rosette is similar to that of C. virgata, but differes by its more branched panicle-like inflorescences (Teiller et al., 2019).
