Distribution and habitat

Restricted to northern Chile from north of Vallenar (province Atacama) to Fray Jorge (province Coquimbo). Desert scrub on hillsides, salt flats, and cliffs from 100-100 m above sea level.

Habit

Sprawling evergreen shrub to 1 m tall. Flowering and fruiting from August to February.
