Habitat
Distribution and habitat
Restricted to a few locations in central Chile in the Metropolitana and O'Higgins regions. It occurs at elevations of betyween 1200 to 1700 m in Andean shrubland where it grows in humid, flat, open places where it can be covered by snow for upto four months.
