Distribution and habitat

Only know from the Type locality. The species inhabits rock crevices within the vegetation belt Andean Mediterranean sclerophyllous forest of Quillaja saponaria and Lithraea caustica. It is associated with Tropaeolum azureum, Colliguaja odorifera, Porlieria chilensis, and Kageneckia oblonga
