Mediterranean and Mountain matorral & sclerophyllous forest
Distribution and habitat
Distributed in the provinces of Colchagua to Curicó from 1000-1400 m. In Alto Huemul (where it is locally abundant) it can be found growing with Azara petiolaris, Colletia sp., Ribes trilobum, Alstroemeria revoluta, Dennstaedtia glauca and Buddleja globosa. The habitat borders on to Nothofagus macrocarpa forest (Muñoz-Schick et al. (2016).
